You are wrong . Sambhaji exhorted the Hindu rulers to unite under the Maratha banner to fight against the religious oppression perpetuated by Aurangzeb . Yes , Maratha army had few Muslim soldiers , but Muslims were never offered important posts. It was a dharma yudha . To not acknowledge as so , would be tantamount to falsifying history .
